I don’t know where I’ll go to college. It seems that no matter where I go, I’ll be criticized for it. Can’t go to the same college as my girlfriend because it’s a stupid decision. Can’t go to college in my hometown because it’s stupid. It’s as if they’re the one’s paying. Tsk.
Maybe I’ll backpack through India and tour the Mediterranean and stay awhile with my father’s brother in France instead.

It really isn’t a bad idea to take a gap year. I’m in college now and have a few friends who did take gap years and did really awesome stuff during them and they all came into school with a much better idea of what they wanted to actually do while they were there and were generally just much more enlightened people for it.
